Summer 2014: Boating, Biking, Canoeing, Stand-up Paddling, Fishing, Motorcycling
It's a typical Long Island summer filled with warm-weather activities. We have a longer summer break than usual because school in Baku does not start until near the end of August - hooray for longer vacations! In addition to all the activities we did lots of yard work, trimming trees and bushes around the house. It's the first summer without my mom, and the house seems a bit empty. There is a canoe trip along the Peconic River with Mike and Shirley, Ann goes fishing with Greg, Mike, Shirley and Dad, there is always bike riding, stand-up-paddling is a lot of fun and with not a lot of wind we are successful in not falling, there is a day trip on the motorcycles with Bob and Darice along the back roads to Port Jefferson, Billy does lots of beach jogging...
