We followed a trail off of East Rd up to the West Ridge trail where Hubey has spent the previous day and night doing trail work.

Oct 9 - Ross Brook Trail to Tannery Falls and Tannery Trail with Judy, Lin
This has got to be one of my favorite hikes yet!! The Fall colors surrounded us and the forest floor was carpeted with bright yellows, oranges, and reds. The trail ran next to a babbling brook and led to a waterfall. This had to be the best lunch spot around!!

Oct 12 - Golden Triangle on Greylock with GMC led by Marjorie and Hal
A wonderful hike on Mt Greylock including a big porcupine in a tree! After the hike we headed up the mountain in the car so Judy and Lin could see the monument and the top of Greylock and ran into a traffic jam of tourists - so different from our quiet walk in the woods!!

Ton Longtin has made a sign for Bear Wallow Spring, Billy has mounted it on a post so we carry tools and the sign up the mountain to install it.

Billy has refurbished the old Bear Wallow Springs sign that was there, so we took it up and placed it by the Springs.

Oh, our tired legs! This one is steep with no switch backs. It was an amazing day with beautiful yellows at the bottom of the mountain, then up through the mists and clouds (like being in the Pacific Northwest rainforest) and then up to the summit where we were above the clouds!!!

The pool table pockets are done being refurbished, the pool table is together! The basement is looking good with a jig saw puzzle area, a plant growing area, exercise area plus all the usual basement stuff. Time for a pool party!!
