France - Paris, Normandy, Caen: April 2014

It's almost our last European trip as our time in Germany is coming to an end. Richard joins us for this adventure which is a change from our usual biking, hiking to a more touristy journey. It starts with a Thayles train from Koblenz to Paris. We do the usual touristy sites of Paris: Eiffel Tower, Montmartre, Notre Dame, a boat ride down the Seine - do lots of walking, eating croissants and crepes. We rent a car and drive through beautiful countryside to Caen where we spend a couple of nights with a day trip to Mont St Michel and a short time at the Normandy beaches.
