London January 2005

We attended a job fair in London and had a bit of time to do some sight-seeing. At the job fair we considered jobs in Italy, Vietnam and the Netherlands, but decided to stay in Hong Kong for another year. London was windy and cold - there would be rain, snow, bright blue sky, clouds - all within one day. The old buildings were astounding - we took the 'Tube' downtown a couple of times and walked around to see Buckingham Palace, Park, Parliament, WestMinster Abbey, River Thames, Tralfagar Square, Tate Gallery Museum of Modern Art. We hope that everyone living in London is paid really well as it was the most expensive place we have ever visited!
